DVD Resources

Welcome to the Director in the Classroom DVD Resources.

DVDs are an excellent, contemporary resource for the classroom. Many commercially available DVDs provide a great behind the scenes look at the filmmaking process, and in so doing, are a useful tool to illustrate the filmmaking process to students.

The DVDs, with their related resources, are sorted by Audio, Editing, Screenwriting, Production Design, Storyboards, Commentaries and Other features that will give you a great starting place. It is by no means a complete list as new DVDs are released weekly, but we invite you to add your favorites with this handy submission form along with any ideas you wish to share as to how to best use them in the classroom.

We will also provide some handy links for you to review or purchase DVDs from Amazon.com, or if you are in Canada, Chapter.ca
